Recently, the Beijing Municipal Science & Technology Commission and Zhongguancun Science Park Administrative Committee announced the list of projects granted Beijing New Technologies, New Products and New Services Recognition for 2026. Two innovative AccuMedical products—the Grism® Stent Retriever and the Lattice® NEXT Flow Diverter—received the recognition for their significant technological breakthroughs and their ability to drive industrial development.

On-site at Beijing New Technologies, New Products and New Services Launch Event
The Beijing New Technologies, New Products and New Services Recognition initiative focuses on emerging and future industries, key sectors, and areas where further development is urgently needed. It recognizes original and disruptive technological achievements that can help move emerging industries up the value chain, fill gaps in the domestic market, and demonstrate reliable quality and strong market potential. The recognition of these two products reflects the Beijing municipal authorities’ strong acknowledgement of AccuMedical’s innovative capabilities and technological leadership in the field of neurointerventional medical devices. The two products address the treatment of ischemic stroke and hemorrhagic cerebrovascular disease, respectively. Both meet pressing clinical needs and have already been introduced into clinical practice.

Exhibition of Beijing New Technologies, New Products and New Services
Grism® Stent Retriever
Endovascular mechanical thrombectomy for acute ischemic stroke places extremely high demands on the clot-capturing capability and safety of thrombectomy stents. The Grism® Stent Retriever features the world’s first[1] fully radiopaque dual-capture basket, together with a closed distal-end, tipless design. During thrombectomy, this design enables effective clot capture while helping prevent the escape of clot fragments. The device also provides strong clot integration and precise intraprocedural positioning. The pre-market clinical study for grism® broke new ground by enrolling patients whose stroke onset occurred 8–24 hours before treatment. This forward-looking exploration of an extended treatment window may provide patients with ischemic stroke with better opportunities to receive treatment. In recognition of its outstanding innovation, the Grism® Stent Retriever has been included in the Zhongguancun Catalogue of Innovative Medical Device Products.
Lattice® NEXT Flow Diverter
The Lattice® NEXT Flow Diverter incorporates a breakthrough distal guidewire design with no extended wire tip, together with an optimized stent delivery system. These innovations enable smoother device manipulation and more controlled deployment in the treatment of intracranial aneurysms, particularly in cases involving tortuous vessels.By substantially reducing the technical difficulty of device manipulation, Lattice® NEXT allows physicians to perform procedures with greater ease and confidence, helping usher intracranial aneurysm treatment into an era of “automatic-mode” operation. In 2025, Lattice® NEXT was included in the First Batch of the Beijing 2025 Catalogue of First-of-Its-Kind Major Technical Equipment. It was also prominently showcased as an innovative achievement in the biopharmaceutical sector at the 42nd National Pharmaceutical Industry Information Annual Conference.
The recognition is jointly conferred by five municipal government authorities: the Beijing Municipal Science & Technology Commission and Zhongguancun Science Park Administrative Committee, the Beijing Municipal Commission of Development and Reform, the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Economy and Information Technology, the Beijing Municipal Commission of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, and the Beijing Municipal Administration for Market Regulation. It is therefore a highly authoritative municipal-level recognition.Recognized new technologies, products, and services may benefit from policy support in areas such as government procurement, promotion, and application. AccuMedical’s Lattice® Flow Diverter and Cosine®45 Distal Access Catheter previously received the same recognition.
