On September 3, the 21st China International Small and Medium Enterprises Expo (CISMEF), themed “Empowering SMEs with Artificial Intelligence,” opened in Guangzhou. Zhang Guoqing, a member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Vice Premier of the State Council, and Huang Kunming, a member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Secretary of the CPC Guangdong Provincial Committee, attended the opening ceremony and delivered remarks. At the expo, the 15th Five-Year Plan for Promoting the Development of Small and Medium Enterprises was released. The plan calls for stronger policy support, deeper reform and innovation, greater internal vitality and competitiveness among enterprises, and further development of SMEs toward specialization and innovation. As a national-level expo hosted by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, CISMEF has long focused on the innovation and development of SMEs. It aims to build a global showcase for Chinese SMEs, promote the application of new technologies, business models, and emerging forms of business, and help SMEs better integrate into global industrial and supply chains.

At the expo, AccuMedical highlighted innovative solutions for both hemorrhagic and ischemic stroke.
In the field of hemorrhagic stroke, AccuMedical showcased its internationally advanced solution for the treatment of intracranial aneurysms—the Lattice® Flow Diverter series. Since receiving marketing approval, the product has achieved a 21% market share in China[1], with more than 14,000 implants cumulatively as of the end of 2025. Supported by robust product performance, multiple key clinical datasets[2] have demonstrated significantly better performance than comparable products from traditional international brands, highlighting the innovation and competitiveness of China’s domestically developed neurointerventional devices. According to the latest real-world study presented at the American Stroke Association’s International Stroke Conference (ISC) in 2026[2], Lattice®, featuring its proprietary MIROR surface modification technology and self-expanding mechanical balloon delivery system, achieved a high rate of complete aneurysm occlusion while significantly reducing the in-stent stenosis (ISS) rate from 14.5% for conventional mainstream international devices to 1.8%. Meanwhile, the breakthrough innovation in its stent delivery system enables smoother navigation and more controlled deployment during the clinical treatment of intracranial aneurysms, substantially reducing procedural complexity for physicians and helping bring intracranial aneurysm treatment into a more streamlined and intuitive era.
In the field of ischemic stroke, AccuMedical presented a comprehensive thrombectomy solution featuring the Grism® Stent Retriever with Dual Capture Tripods, Attractor® Aspiration Catheter, Cosine45 Micro Intermediate Catheter, and Sine21 Microcatheter. This powerful combination enables broader clinical applications. Among them, Grism® features a unique Stent Retriever with Dual Capture Tripods, incorporating a distal capture tripod with no tip, specialized flower-shaped clot trapping cells, and fully visible dual capture tripods. These features enable effective clot capture while maintaining vessel conformability and support thrombectomy for large vessel occlusion (LVO) and medium vessel occlusion (MeVO). Grism® delivers outstanding clot capture and anti-embolization performance. This integrated system significantly reduces procedural complexity and shortens critical rescue time, helping achieve rapid and effective revascularization for patients.
